What to Inspect
Verify gauges read zero with no system connected -- analog gauges drift and may need recalibration. Check hose condition; cracked or brittle hoses must be replaced before use. Confirm the manifold handles the refrigerant types you work with (R-410A, R-22, R-32, etc.).
